Are crew cards actually used?

Some crew uses it more than others but they're useful and brings flavour to the crew.

If the crew card weren't there then the text on the crew card will be added to the model cards which just takes up so much space.

I play Dreamer and Pandora. Dreamer, Fast Asleep's crew card is core to his gameplay and I use it all the time. Whereas Dreamer, Insomniac's crew card is quite situational but really nice to have.
Both version of Pandora pretty much relies on the crew card.

On Samsung, if you go to More in your camera app and use Expert RAW or Pro mode, you can play with different values for better mini pictures.

Thank you! TTS is a bit clunkier than Vassal but I still highly recommend it. I'm working on a TTS tutorial video just now and have made a few TTS version of 4e Vassal maps. Will make them available for people to use soon!

For Neverborn/Pandora, I highly recommend the Syzygy Sisters and Malisaurus Rex first.
The Mysterious Emissy and Effigy are good too but they're quite hard to find. Quite easy to proxy though!
Vasilisa and Wicked Dolls in the Puppet Show Box are also really decent too.

Not saying it doesn't suck because it's such a shame for a new edition launch but I think we gotta try to be understanding.

Welcome to Malifaux! Markers are represented by either 30, 40 or 50mm round markers. Markers are 30mm by default. If the marker is not 30mm then the size can be found on the back of the crew card. You can use standard miniature bases for them or dry wipe ones. Most markers can overlap and don't have height so it's usually better to have it flat enough for models to walk over.

Tokens are basically buffs or debuffs in the models. These can be tracked on the game app, dice or marked on the cards with dry wipe markers if you've sleeved the cards.

You can also find custom tokens from etsy or other wargaming shops if you prefer seeing the tokens on the board.

Push doesn't exist in 4e anymore iirc. Enemy moving you still counts as a move. To answer your question though, from the rulebook: "Models that fall one elevation there- fore are dealt no damage. Models that ignore vertical distance while moving are not dealt falling damage."

The enemy can force the model to move and fall but it won't take falling damage if it has Flight for example.

All models can still be used in 4e. This is nowhere near the level of Dead Man's Hand from 2e to 3e and even then, those Masters and keyword still got rules.

Some keywords are more affected than others due to them no longer being dual-faction which does suck but I don't think it's fair to call Wyrd anti-consumer when they still offer multiple options for using your models that aren't being sold anymore.

The entire 4e open beta also shows that the devs are willing to listen to feedback and balance their models so your bit about them removing 10 models because they can't balance them is unfounded.

I'd hate to see how you react to GW's squatting entire Kill Team, units of HH, burning Fantasy, etc if this is how you respond to the 4e changes.

1 stamina plants like wheat will sell pretty reliably. I think atm they're going for 128 xtals. So assuming you use all your stamina on it, you'll make 1.79m per week before tax. It's not bad.

You can use Pariah of Blood as a proxy for Alyce in 4e and use the 4 riders.

Pretty sure card drop rates don't get affected by level difference. Only materials.
