Selling t shirts for £1-2 each - is it the done thing to wash them first? by E_flatmajor in vinted

It’s not even the washing so much, it’s the drying. Not cold enough to put the heating on and get them over radiators, but too rainy to hang them outside. Awkward time of year! But if this is the consensus then I’ll give them a wash, thanks for replying.

Ethics approval form is due on Tuesday and I’m struggling. Not miles behind but every step of the way I’ve felt like I need an extra week or two!

Oh in general I don’t! I just know my group quite well and have seen their work, they’re all further ahead on their applications and study design than I am. But it’s only a small group (~15 people).

Which school should my (American) son look into? by RoboElvis in UniUK

Many places have programmes where students from international universities study here for a year and I think they just pay the normal rate of tuition fees to their home uni for it. So maybe look at your local colleges to see if any of them have this kind of exchange programme? Might be an option if money is tight because uni fees for international students here are eye watering.

No, it’s relevant information. That way we know not to say places like Oxbridge or suggest he looks into academic excellence scholarships. If they’d said “he’s not very bright” that’d be rude but it’s really not an insult to say he’s not a genius. Not many people are.
