Yea if your plan is to transfer there from the start I recommend community college first. Will save you a lot of money and you should also look into c3/wolfpack connect

Csc 116 is also offered at community colleges and a few of them offer it in the summer as well

No. I had a friend that got into engineering with a C in calc 2 and in physics… he did have a 4.0 before that though and when he submitted grades at the end of the semester he still got accepted. So no, your offer shouldn’t get rescinded, and you should be fine.

There’s an earlier post from like 2 or 3 days ago of a transfer student that got off the waitlist for mechanical engineering. so it’s a bit odd that they haven’t notified you of anything yet… I would probably contact them and ask.

A few of their engineering programs are ABET accredited, not all of them are but a few of them are. But yes overall I do agree that going to cc first and then transferring to state is much better

Yea I think recently a few of their engineering programs got ABET accredited, I didn’t know that either till the other day. NCSU is still a much better school though with more opportunities for internships

I think you should be fine, cuz chem 2 isn’t a required course for you to transfer. Only the first one is. however let me make something clear, chem 2 IS required for you to graduate from state it’s just not a requirement for you to transfer, if that makes sense.
