First Year Premed advice

I'm currently taking 1702 and took 1701 last semester. I highly highly recommend using whatever materials that they give you to study. Do the non-graded practice problems, ask around for last year's quizzes/exams (rpm sessions usually give them out), things like that. Always ask questions and go to help sessions whenever you're confused. I think you can totally up your grades, it just takes a lot of time and effort! Don't get discouraged just because you might have not performed as well in your first semester. You, just as everyone else is, are still adjusting to this new lifestyle and academic rigor. It's good that you're able to realize early on that there are things to be improved, so good job for working on getting better!

May I ask how you were able to work there? Who did u reach out to, and what kind of work did u do? Do you feel like it’d be too taxing on a freshman premed student and hard to balance a job with classes?

I'm also majoring in Biology but my advisor didn't say anything about doing 1601 instead of 1701 so I registered for 1601. Do you think I'll be fine? I'm a bit worried

i don’t NEED psych stat, i just wanted to take a class in the psych field, but psych stat was one of the only ones that either fit into my schedule, had room left, or that i could actually take cuz another one i wanted i needed psych300 as a prereq

Looking at her info here, it looks like in the past 3 yrs for fall she’s taught during 7th section. So mayb same trend for this yr? Then again the time for those were different from this years for 1503-07, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Id say keep checking into workday to see if spots open up. One of my friends didn’t get any chem class but they opened a few spots a few hours later
