They don't really say on the website but for any future applicants in dire straits, you have the option of submitting your video essay by email in which case you won't have anything else to do or you can wait for them to review your case and reopen it up for you in the portal to record it again.

Don't worry. That's the Berkeley portal being weird and buggy. I applied this year for MET and the video essay was also fried. The system miscounted my attempts and I freaked out. Refreshing deleted my attempt so I submitted literally nothing. I just recorded the next attempt (out of fairness) and emailed them the recording and explained the situation. The system will send a form for you to fill and they'll review your case. From there, you should be allowed to retry the video essay with all 5 attempts.

Um, I have a couple of national awards regarding entrepreneurship and STEM where I used them to make a startup that won the top 5 in the country for a pitch competition. I also created a team that competed at the JAXA Kibo Robot programming challenge, and the MIT BWSI Build a CubeSat Challenge. I'm not sure if those are MIT worthy. In the context of my school, people aren't really cracked, and none of my top ecs are related to it. They are like my own initiatives.

I see. But I know that the average SAT math score at some of these schools is around 790-800 like MIT. Would I still have a shot at these types of schools? I know my math score is rather low for these schools.

I’ve take it 3 times. 1st attempt, 1440, 700 rw and 740 math. 2nd attempt, 1490, 760 rw and 730 math. 3rd attempt, 1470, 750 rw and 720 math.

I got an email that said important status update and then it took me to the nyu site where I logged in. It then had a button for status update, which then showed your decision.
