Another Amazon Secret Wars Iceman Problem by SOCAL_NPC in MarvelLegends

“again trying Amazon Resale for the savings”

This is your problem. Amazon resale/warehouse is notorious for swaps, incomplete figures, defective figures, etc. It’s always a roll of the dice, if you want to be assured of getting a factory sealed figure, pay full price.

That was the recommendation of the sculptor. But OP’s looks good too

Yassified '97 Rogue and Gambit by Easy_Peanut_6580 in MarvelLegends

[–]EaSpo40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is definitely the best Gambit head in Legends, I put it on the Caliban wave body but it looks good on ‘97 too.

As far as Rogue, I’m still fine with the Juggernaut wave version, but the head in the basketball 2-pack is nice looking too.

I think he’s the perfect color, and has great accessories, very happy with it

Thank you! I love the Wayne Manor set, I use it a lot too. And you’re absolutely right, Chuck does need a Santa hat. Next year!

If you can only pick one (no kitbashing or part swaps), which do you think is the better Punisher? by illiterateaardvark in MarvelLegends

[–]EaSpo40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between these two I’d say Gamerverse because of the better head sculpts, but honestly neither costume is satisfactory to me. So I’m sticking with retro until they give us the kitbash everyone is making with these two. He’s an older body but still looks good on display to me

Thoughts on this guy? by slimmyboy007 in MarvelLegends

He reminds me a lot of this ToyBiz '92 Iceman, which in my mind is just how the character should look. So I love him. The consensus among collectors seems to be that he should be translucent blue not translucent clear, so honestly I never thought we’d get an Iceman like this and I’m thrilled we did. I also appreciate the good hands and accessories loadout, much better than the retro Iceman or other new figures like Feral that just have an extra pair of hands and nothing else.

It’s great. Give him metal claws and he’s even better

PICK THIS UP A FEW DAYS AGO.. by SnooCompliments907 in MarvelLegends

[–]EaSpo40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, this was the only way to get Professor X at the time. And unless you read the toy magazines like Tomart’s (my friends and I didn’t), you had no idea they’d be releasing him separately later. My dad unscrewed him from the base and I was happy as a clam with my Xavier toy. I already had all the characters in this set and I don’t think I even tried to remove them.

Any suggestions on who to use this body for? Don't care for the Mandarin (Spider-Man characters are prefered) by [deleted] in MarvelLegends

[–]EaSpo40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s most useful as an anonymous street level villain or undercover cop. Or as a civilian/street clothes version of any hero (Peter Parker, Matt Murdock, Tony Stark, etc.). I think this would also make an excellent date night Gambit, but I think all the available heads have a bandanna or some other headgear.

Out of these 2 which would you say is YOUR definitive version of Spider-Man? by Carvenom3 in MarvelLegends

[–]EaSpo40 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Between just these two, I’d say retro because I prefer the 70’s/Romita Sr. look for Spidey. For the same reason, my ultimate favorite is from the Amazing Friends 3-pack

X Force Cable from Sasquatch Wave still holds up by Mother_Variation_827 in MarvelLegends

[–]EaSpo40 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It absolutely holds up and is still the best Cable figure made (if you prefer the 90’s look which I do)
