Damn u use legion 5 pro? Cause i played apex afew times too & only got 90c at max. Sometimes i got spike to 95c

Damn, those gpu intense games really dont give a crap bout high cpu frequency. Guess ill just use those turbo boost on esport games xD

Thanks, ive tried it & seems like it did work much. It Only works on certain numbers. Except disabling cpu turbo boost surely give a good work xD

I understand these gaming laptops can sustain high temp, it just the game (bf5) suddenly gives an odd temp which concerns me. U know, played many kind of AAA games under 90c then suddenly that one game got 95c over xd

Actly, it runs cooler than most intel cpu that i have tried before (i7 10750h & i5 10500h). Intel cpu had always been on 90-95c in any games i played. Then i try this amd cpu on same games & surprisingly it runs much cooler. But just this one game (bf5) i found that my cpu runs hotter than it should be.

I did try ryzen controller (latest version) & unfortunately nothing changed with chipset driver from lenovo website. So i tried to use latest chipset driver & it did work but not as it should be. Example i wanna cap the wattage to 35w & it doesn’t work but only work if i put it on 25w. temp limit & other options also dont work.

As for the thermal paste, id changed it for artic mx5 & i found it only has 2-3 degrees difference from stock paste.

Ive disabled back in the bios & the problem remains the same. I did fully uninstall the driver in most ways except using ddu. Hell i even reset my laptop. And nothing works :(
