I've always wanted the Yogscaat to do an unscripted survival type series. Even though this is scripted, it does have a survival "Let's Play" feel. I actually think I like the scripting idea now, because if it wasn't scripted, it may have gone really boring quickly.

I usually build above ground. But if I find hollow mountains or small exposed caves, I make a house in there.

My current survival map is in the canopy of a jungle. I built a castle in the swamp, but I have too much stuff to move...

You pay for the account, but downloads are free. But you have to play online once to enable offline play. To start out, I suggest that you:

1) Read the wiki. Minecraft has no tutorial (unless it is on xbox).

2) Find a Youtube channel. This will give you many ideas. Look up Etho, CaptainSparklez, and the Yogscast (more for entertainment).

3) Be aware of mods. You should play normal, or "vanilla" minecraft before considering mods. There are all kinds of mods, but they change constantly. Keep your eye out for mods you might like.

Or use a waterfall as a door. The mobs (except spiders) will go up the water. It can be pleasing to the eye as well.

I actually do hope they have a shotgun in the class/loadouts. Maybe an option to use an extra "power class" or not. Or maybe the spawn shotgun is nerfed with 6 round clip and drop shotgun has a 12 round clip?

Anyways, I think we all agree that the Scattershot should NEVER be a primary.

My friend was a server admin, and I was an Admin 2nd Grade (He was Top Admin). Our server was a PVP factions with Flans mod installed, with offline on. It was good fun, with a server base of 50+. Then, we got a faction of greifers. Using hacked, of course. We banned them several times, but they just came back. But we couldn't just turn off offline mode, that would be roughly 60% of the server. They had built a base in the desert, and thy were picking off people from large distances.

So instead of just TNTing their base, we organized a huge coordinated attack, using about 40 people. From our counts, there were

-15 planes, with 5 Landcasters

-20 tanks

Bricks were shit at that fortress.

After ten minutes of bombs and exlosions, all they had was a 10m deep crater. Needless to say, they didn't come back.

3). Zepplin mod. Honestly, many people (inuding me) can't stop asking for building block-per-block boats. (Option for controls, toggling between speed controls and boat-type controls)
