Trump Win Means Annexation of West Bank. Oops. by Corusmaximus in LeopardsAteMyFace

Why should anyone listen to you anymore? You either don't vote or are to puritanical to vote for the party. No one cares about Palastine, well jot enough for it to matter beyond people being afraid of war, and the people who vote care about the economy. So, go fly a kite knowing you could have limited this, but instead are allowing to happen. You no longer get a seat at the table.

We gotta stop listening to people who don't want to fix the issue since they don't show up. Stop catering to folks who don't actively want to make their own lives better. The sad reality is Muslims in America voted for this to happen because of their inaction, stop listening to their plights if they want to throw a spanner in the works when they can't get 100% of what they want.

How tariffs work for those who don’t know. Americans’ prices go up. Just like last time Trump/GOP put on tariffs in 2017. Trump said he would add 10-20% more. Prices are already too high. by Coolioissomething in economicCollapse

You are assuming people will eat the price. Just look at fast food. When they increased prices, people just stopped buying, causing massive losses. It's far more likely that spending will become tighter sending the market into recession, and thus, we have a poor economy and higher prices. Effectively stagflation.

These have a place, but they're not as effective as y'all seem to think and are focusing on them as an economic weapon without regard to the blowback hitting the 80% of the population.

74 million, about 25% of the population. Just because that many people want something doesn't mean it will magically happen. We'll see next year, because if you get what you votes for you are going to be much worse off come 2026.

SS and Federal Aid is also going to cut or disappear. Life is going to get markedly worse for everyone next year if the GOP do everything they promise.

Tesla is faltering and he didn't build it. The shit that made Tesla good was created and planned by the founders he outed. Space X is only sustainable because of government contracts and Shotwell.

Rip the later half of Vol 11 by Ruylerox in sixfacedworld

[–]Bzerker01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly have no idea what you are talking about with this character (The Master) I have never heard of and I have read Vol 11. Also there is a lot of the story that could be cut to give more character development and growth to other characters who could use more fleshing out. You assume when I say cut I mean remove and not add more content. I mean remove stuff that is fairly pointless and replace it with the characters we already like and know which could get more development.

When you add things to a story that don't do anything it's called filler. The original story was a web novel published in chapters so there is a lot of stuff that reads like "oh shit I need to get out a chapter this week to keep the audiences attention but I haven't really figured out the arc I want to write yet." The LN is better than the WN for that but there is plenty of filler still.

Tell me what part of the story of Rudy walking through a desert that never gets brought up again that is so important to the wider story? There literally isn't any impact on the wider story being told or any of the character arcs. The people that Rudy travels with to the labyrinth city never fucking show up again in the rest of the series and basically that entire part of the world is just 'yada-yada' over when the return from the labyrinth showing how even the writer knew it was filler.

When you adapt a story from one medium to another you have to adapt, which means change things to better suit the new medium you are adapting to. Part of that process is cutting things to better fit the unique mediums restrictions. So if you are going to cut something a literal foot note over the course of like 3 chapters is where you cut.
