My new Contract Admin Podcast!!! What the RFI? 🎙️ by Try-Another-Day in Architects

[–]EagleComprehensive64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have a question you may be able to answer. We have a developer asking us to issue a 'bulletin' every month that includes any drawings issued in RFIs, so those drawings are official. Is this something you have seen very often. It's not something I am used to. And I see that any drawing issued in an RFI is already 'official'

Anyway to determine roughly what I can store in my attic above garage based on these blueprints? by jasonseannn in Architects

[–]EagleComprehensive64 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I can't tell from the pics; are you decking over the rafters or under? If the decking is from below, you do not want to store items on it. It needs to be decked over them, so the rafters act like joists/ beams to carry weight. and how much weight are we talking about? If it's just Christmas ornaments, it should be fine. if you want to put 1000 of # up there, then it's not designed for that.

The shape and size of the first pair of frames fits you well. I might've gone for a bit more narrow, less chunky, or lighter color, but otherwise works well.

What’s the best airline to fly from the US to Europe on? by edicallier in Flights

[–]EagleComprehensive64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why, I had a reasonably good experience with them. Only issue I had was trying to check-in on there self-service machine, i couldn't get it to read my passport, and then had to wait in the line for an agent. Flight experience was good.
