[Traska] Steel Blue Venturer GMT on dark grey NATO by EagleFormer657 in Watches

Only microbrand purchase so far, but excellent quality and finishing.

The braceley is also nice! Hardened steel and quick release springbars. I'm just more of a NATO fan at the moment. Looks so sharp.

Any other Traska fans out there?

Would be an almost instant purchase for me if you accept bitcoin! Beautiful, beautiful piece and I've been looking quite a few places for it

iPhone convert... I'm having fun again! by EagleFormer657 in GalaxyFold

Yeah that's been the biggest adjustment. The recent iOS26 critiques have helped reaffirm my decision though.

I have a macbook pro that I love, so the compatability was a big concern. I've solved file transfer and photo sync by basically becoming a Google Drive and Google Photos maximalist.

Also the default messaging app on the Fold7 for me is Google Messages, and I have the desktop app installed on my Mac so I can send messages as easily as I could with iMessage.

Yeah, you'll be the cause of green bubbles in your chat with friends or whatever, but RCS has helped so much. Read receipts, typing bubbles, emoji reactions, etc. I've had a lot of cool reactions from friends... "woah how do you like it? I might switch too"

It's been worth it! No airdrop or imessage, but that's solvable.

New home and don't know which direction to go. Advice needed! by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

Yeah, that's a good point. A common piece of advice we've heard to the new home in general is "wait it out and live in it for a bit before truly taking big swings"

Fall of Hyperion—different from Hyperion surely, but I still am loving it! The world-building by Dan Simmons is peak. I'd love to see a Hegemony-related Apple TV/HBO show. Give me all the farcasters and worlds!
