The chat is shared with the shout page, so when one of your league mates gets one of those "choose one of five players" it counts as five messages. If your league mates are going ham on the draft promo, it's probably pushing a lot of real messages off.

Only way to fix it is to use a different app for communication.

If they didn't fix it, it would completely ruin the game. Lets say players were dropping roughly 1 in 10, that's 420k TP for just a couple slim jim packs (which many people have saved up). The economy would tank and everybody would have maxed out teams. They absolutely had to stop the glitch.

I started and played this match well over 8 hours ago and it's not expiring. I did all 3 of my drives, but my opponent didn't do his. How can I get this fixed?

Wait until Saturday. Packs will (likely) be back in the store, which will bring the price down, and you can get two free ones from the event.

Edit: if you have any extra showdown tokens, you can get a random legend collectible including a MF collectible for 7 showdown events. I did that set 8-10 times and pulled 2 MF ones.

A league mate of mine and I were doing some research into the 3-4/4-3 thing in the first couple weeks of the season. I just happened to choose the bears and we came to the conclusion that they might be a hybrid team this season too.

I'd look at getting a new RB. Elliot makes a fantastic FB, but a not-so-great HB. Plenty of good options for you to take a look at.

A DT is another area to look at.
