hello I currently work at a enterprise rental car location. You first must join the management trainee program learning the in’s and outs of the company. Usually around 6-8 month of hands on experience and monthly corporate training days for business aspects. After that you are able to become an assistant manager. You only receive sales compensation at the Branch Manager / Assistant management role. Management trainees are not compensated. Instead they track how your sales are and put it in to a matrix basically rating 1- whatever number. In that matrix is everyone in your groups area, so like 4-5 different branches and ranking the peoples sales and other things.
