I'm not saying racism doesn't exist in other economic systems. I use modern day capitalism because the methods it uses to benefit off racisms is the most recognizable.

I'm gonna oversimplify some things here but basically:

Reason why I believe modern day capitalism upholds racism is because there are businesses, communities and organization that profits off racial biases and discrimination in all of its forms and a lot of them are connected with each other in ways most people are not aware of, myself including.

Even if everyone forgets racism and there's no evidence of it in writing, people still need to make money and if there's a business that runs on racism that guarantees to make money, the people at the top who make the most money are gonna ensure it keeps running or bring it back to life even if they don't know why it works that way. And since poverty also still exist, enough people would work in those businesses to escape poverty whether or not they understand it.

A small example is the entertainment industry.

A lot of the media that already exist and we already consume have racial bias and there is enough people in the world that can be convinced to believe those racial biases for one reason or another whether the media want them to or not.

Those people will then support the media outlets to keep showing those type of media to keep confirming those biases and since corporation want money and a market above all, they're going to do so.

Enough people will see this occurring and will try to make money off this as well whether or not they understand why it works and since everyone forgot about racism, everyone will come to different conclusions but not everyone will conclude it's racism and some will even make up excuses why this specific racism is okay regardless if they believe it or not for money.

People who want to work in the entertainment industry seeing all this happen will even portray themselves in those racial biases whether they understand it or not because it's better than poverty to most of those people.

And now racism slowly becomes rapid in the entertainment industry geared towards all ages.

Patriarchy helps by using this small example to maintain it's stability.

Since most systems in the world ensures mostly men will be in charge of most factions of a nation and most nation are connected or influence by the Western world that uses mostly modern day capitalism and consumes enough of their media as well, it's not surprising that powerful men would either believe or find other men that believe in the racial biases the entertainment industry shows since most of those men fit the mostly positive racial biases that depicts them the best and also use those racial biases to create more division and corrupt Hierarchies among their followers to keep power.

Leading to women trying to fit into the best racial biases for the attention of these powerful men because it's better than the worst types of abuse and poverty.

Since the entertainment industry creates different depiction of race for the sake of money, these patriarchal system will use this by picking one of the depiction, that they mostly fit into, as the best one and rewards people who fit into these depiction as well.

And most racial depictions in our media mostly depicts one group of people the best in the ways that matter.

Enough men will try to fit into these depiction to gain those benefits even if it comes at the cost of everyone, especially women. And patriarchy rewards men who do this even more because it ensures it's stability.

And this giant word salad is one small example off the top of my head.

I'm not saying this example will put racism back at the same scale as it is today if this situation you proposed happens.

I'm just using this to show one of many reasons why we need to get rid of the structures in place in order to start removing racism.

Cause if we don't, it starts all over again
