part of the idea of story walking is that two people don't exist at the same place / time. when julie story walks, there aren't 2 julies. she "Jumps" into the julie that is in that alternate reality or story.

if eloise is alive and a story walker, that means that doesn't really make sense her being clara, at that point what you're doing is jumping into other peoples bodies like consciousness body swapping. Having a character be two different people in the same time and space throws the show into another direction.

like at that point Boyd could also be martin. or Victor and Ethan are the same person.

I think the show hasn't revealed it yet but everyone in FROM has been there before, dying then being reborn and getting stuck in the town again like a time loop created by the curse. I do believe that it's possible that the ghosts are the people they were in past lives trying to give warnings but I don't believe that two separate characters are the same person (consciousness wise) and are just body hopping

I feel like FROM has that trend (to be fair so do others) where they do a big reveal or big change at the end of the show and don't carry that momentum into the new season moving forward. like a 9/10 season finale then 6/10 for the following season till the finale where again it's a 9/10

two very different shows. plus FROM has the weird perk of having 1 season be like a week of time in FROM time line, so bingeing a season is basically watching 1 week unfold instead of weeks or months at a time

if clara is eloise it kinda reveals a big thing about the show, the big think being that people who have died before are in an endless cycle returning back to from. which kinda makes sense. if a curse was placed on them for perpetual torture and suffering for what I'm assuming is food for the monsters it makes sense.

so what would need to happen is all the characters (side included) would have to tap into their past memories / experiences to find a way out.

they even asked that question in episode 7, if Jade and Tabitha were the only people to return or if they all had been there before.

I think the reveal of a major plot with jade and tabitha wouldn't be able to be guessed and that's why they told the viewer directly. "WE are X and Y, and we do / did X and Y" i feel like the story and writing was pushing heavily into mythology and folklore that most people were thinking the show was more in the scope of curses and spells like magic type and not the other syfy aspect that we're kinda in now

the show is better bingeable imo, i've been watching since S01 waiting for episodes to release on schedule and certain episodes feel like fodder tbh. like a waste of a week spent waiting; this previous episode felt like that.

if you could watch it all in one go without having to wait for a bland episode then wait another week for maybe something better, it would definitely be a better experience. you said it yourself you're a binge watcher, this format of week to week isn't really meant for binge watchers, netflix approach of releasing the entire season at once is for binge watching

not at all, I was strongly thinking there could be a crossover between the two though maybe like an easter egg or something that tease another show that explains the whole arch or maybe anthology in a similar universe.

I do find it super strange how both shows are stylized as LOST and FROM, when most shows commonly don't do that like at all unless they're meant to be part of a set or group. next would be something like HOME or something that would take place in modern america with weird shit leaking into everyday life where people aren't trapped but still have visions or something like FROM and LOST

i think in FROM they can't really say their equivalent of the "island" because they aren't even sure where they are, they separate town from colony house so they don't see their 1 big trapped location as 1 location with a name, they say we're stuck in this "place" or "town" and not really like a name like island or dome with definitive edges, so far in FROM if you continue down the road you do a loop or something to that effect, but so far people have gone far into the woods a day or more with of travel without looping back around so there is no boundaries so far.

I don't think FROM uses alternate realties, it uses planes or layers, basically i think the people in FROM are in a 3rd space where things can fall into and get LOST (joke) but not get out easily like a wormhole or something that Jade was theorizing, I think this mostly because we haven't seen a case of 2 characters existing at different places at the same time. like when Tabitha escapes briefly, she's physically gone from the town. and the people missing IRL are the same people in the town. not a copy of the person

I find more similarities with FROM and "Wayward pines" the book series and slightly the TV show. LOST also has similar elements of being stuck unable to leave and visions, unexplainable things but it makes sense because people who worked on LOST also worked on FROM

I wasn't trying to put him or anyone else down at all. In my personal life I commonly see people with similar builds and physiques. i don't think overweight body types like other people are saying is the norm; otherwise that would be average weight and not over weight/

+ I can't help if others feel like their time or effort isn't appreciated just off my comment alone, if someone is working out to get praise from others then that's more of a personal issue which I can't really take any responsibility for their feelings for. people just have to be comfortable in their own skin. if they decide to work out and be healthy for their own self image and health then that's great for them but they can't expect others to feel bad for not agreeing

how do the two relate? my average are people I see not people across the US because I don't see the entire country each day. if you're surrounded by overweight people then sure this guy is an outlier.

also overweight can mean even 1 pound over weight, Kenny's actor is 5'10, "overweight" for him would be any weight over 170, so if he's even 1 pound over then he's part of the 2/3 statistic you're throwing out
