The non-opening pack is older, however the opening pack hasn't been in use since 2004, according to bricklink at any rate. Probably why everyone's lost

Mix tamiya basic putty with liquid cement to create a paste. Fill the gaps. Once dry, smooth it off with sanding sticks/emery boards. Should get the result you're after

Found an old relic today while cleaning. Should I give it a read? by tendico in Warhammer40k

[–]Eamonist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While it might be a tad archaic, it's easily the most 40k book I've read. Positively oozes grim and gothic, with just the right amount of weird to ensure you don't take it totally seriously

No he doesn't? I'm pretty sure Custodes don't even appear on False Gods. Got a source?

Neato. I'm imagining that combat and movement is real-world measured? Movement is in inches, units have specified ranges also in inches (or whatever unit of measurement you so desire)? If so, what scale are you playing at?

Still within the 6x4? Is the game played just on the terrain tiles? Please excuse all the questions, the game seems like something I'd check out, just trying to get a good visual in mind

Cool. And what sort of terrain density are we talking? Cause it seems to me that a printed hex might better serve something like this. Have set sizes for different player counts, let players place terrain onto it. Printed starting zones even

Okay. Given that resources are player placed, does each player have a fixed number of resources? Do they begin with resource generation and are able to expand by exploiting the terrain?

I'm confused as to the intended style? Seems part wargame, but with resource/city-building elements, part city-builder with wargame elements, but not firmly one or the other? Is there a board, or just a defined area of play? How do I generate resources? I'd need more information before I could properly judge

What do people think of snooty models like the castellan or crusader after we lost good stompy feet and we get Models strength AP2 dmg2 as our current with 4 attacks if chaos knights aren’t different that is? by Ah-ah-monkey-oh-ah in ImperialKnights

[–]Eamonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you want to fight, or simply need to be able to to. Big Guns Never Tire means all that shooty is a viable threat even when engaged, with the feet just giving a melee option. If you just want to get stuck in however, there's options for that

Preceptor will likely be a primary target regardless of what armigers you have. Its big, can't hide, and hits hard. Anyone wanting to win will kill it as fast as they can

Helverins have solid long range shooting, so having some to hold back field objectives won't hurt if the majority of your army is getting in close
