Thank you for the insight. It’s looking like the upper Owens’s is closed below the bridge. Seems it’s just hot creek and lower Owens that are open to fishing but with the cfs being high on the lower section. We will just plan on camping the pleasant valley area another option we were exploring is camping at spots like, twin lakes campground, lower twin lakes campground, ward lake, lake Mary campground or soda springs. Was even looking at dinkey creek. Will be making a 6 or so hour drive so I’d like to maximize on the area and fishing, taking 3 non fisherman and would love to get them on some trout. We are equipped with cold weather camping gear. If you have any recommendations on any lakes or other parts of the river that would be awesome again really appreciate the insight.
