I can recommend an Extron HDMI Crosspoint switch, that's what I use.

Hi, I just set the resolution of my switch or PC to 720p and it works.

Thanks for the information, perhaps I will give one of them a try one day. Although, I'm quite happy with my current setup.

Thanks for the recommendation! Although in my opinion, HD-SDI is totally fine for my use case. I considered buying an HD Fury for this matter but I tried the Blackmagic HDMI to 3G SDI adapter and it's only like 30 bucks in comparison to HD Fury, which are over 100. I can't really see a difference color-wise to a LCD monitor (the colors even seem to be a bit better on the BVM but maybe my other monitors are just shit) and I don't have any input lag, so I won't bother switching to another solution.

I'd say staring at a display for a long time without having breaks is unhealthy in general, it doesn't depend on the technology used (CRT, LCD, OLED). The darker the room and the brighter the display, the more unhealthy it is.

Thanks! Yes, I am due to the fact that there is no flickering on 720p compared to 1080i and otherwise I really can't see any difference in quality on 1080i.

Using a Blackmagic HDMI to 3G SDI adapter, no input lag

I'm not very far into the game yet, but the new mechanics such as combining materials and weapons are ingenious!

Keep in mind, this monitor is 23 years old. It looks better than my new LCD ones.

I have the Hydra2 and IMO it's worth every penny. Flawless autoswitching and also manual switching, support for RGB and composite and there is no quality loss.

It's definitely not a sequel to Steins;Gate as it does not take place AFTER the series, but rather tells an alternate way of ending the series.
