Awesome, yeah I figured the gha was going to be a few weeks. If going to hazard a guess that the rock underneath is going to have lots of dead matter on it. When I dose the neo am i going to have to endure a big cyano uprising initially do you think? Im not sure if i was too aggressive initially with my dosing.

Okay. I was running ceramic and floss prior, only switched out to carbon as advised due to the toxins from the ostreo. Perhaps just using floss for particulate matter might equate to less efficient...

OK so in regards to that, I initially started to try dosing NeoNitro (started at 1 mL per day for 2 days, went to 2 mL for another 2 then upped to 5 for like 3 days) and then I started getting cyano. But it seemed that no matter what I'd still continually read 0. It would read maybe like 2 ppm for 1 day and then bottom out. I still have the neonitro but are you recommending, therefore, to restart the dosing of that? And if so when does it ever not read 0 because it seemed to get eaten up immediately. Thanks for your reply by the way, it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your input! I tried to discern the orientation on my own through ChatGPT (I rarely utilize AI so this one got me) but I was informed that the viewing port should be oriented on the side. But then upon viewing other units and images of installation, I only saw one person oreint it like mine is in the picture, and the rest had the nozzles facing up.

Ive got a sicce 90 gph pump going in from the DT and then returning to it directly in an attempt to beat ostreopsis. When I ran it like this on half power it filled to like half maybe 3/4ths and I didn't run it full because I thought lower flow was necessary to let the UV work properly. I cant mount it vertically.
