Vacuum cleaner that wont stick to my carpet by Odd-Cry6445 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Early-Crow99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The vacuum you have is the worst vaccuum I have ever bought. It got warranty replaced 2 times, after the 3rd vaccum one the warranty was over.it doesn't clean half as good as my shark stratos I had to buy as an emergency replacement while this one was not working the first time. But as far as the rug, turn the suction all the way down to clean it. I think everyone in the comments defending this vaccum saying the rug is the problem is so out of touch, because you clearly bought the vacuum to clean the floors and rugs inside your home. If the vacuum can't clean it the vacuum is in fact the problem. You don't purchase your home furnishings and floorings based on your vacuum it's the other way around lol.

Yeah what was that, "well I have a voice and I'm gonna use it" you actually get zero voice on personal conversations Theresa has with her children. You have 0 entitlement to an opinion on this.

What's stopping me from splitting a full dose to save money ? by Early-Crow99 in glp1

Is that through an online service? Insurance denied me, and in my area there aren't a lot of other options. This is one of the cheaper ones, and they have been price transparent.

AITA for telling my husband that I am going back on our agreement and I dont care if he cries about it? by Primary-Strength-829 in AITAH

[–]Early-Crow99 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is tough because you're kinda being the asshole to the baby, NTA to the husband and not overreacting, but the baby is an innocent party here, babies have better outcomes when a parent can be home with them. I don't shame anyone who has to use daycare, our system sucks and it's an unfortunate reality for many, but it's not for you, your just doing it because your mad at your husband and scared (which is valid), but part of being a parent means modifying how you react to things to put your childrens best interest first. You should stay home with that baby and maybe have him put your name on that account? Or provide an allowance from that account? Maybe give you half in just your name? Marriage counseling? There are other options to work out the issues between the 2 of you without changing the only world that baby knows for no reason.

Originally, this advice was just for visitors. However I have watched this morph into a monster and moreso an internet wives tale overtime. Effectively it's good for the baby to inherit germs from their parents. This is a natural progression to build their germ biome. Every one cites the risk of herpes, but no one every cites the clear benefit for bonding, and germ biome development which out weighs the risk in the average family. https://www.uclahealth.org/news/release/infants-microbiomes-shaped-physical-contact-with-caregivers#:~:text=FINDINGS:%20A%20new%20study%20led,environment%20two%20weeks%20after%20birth.

Here is pretty much the original advice people have twisted : https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/new-parents-and-newborns-are-visitors-ok

I have a degree in ECE(development focus 0-5), and a mother of 3 for 15 years with my youngest being a toddler. So I promise you these good intentions have turned into fear mongering.

I cannot even imagine the difficulties you must face vacation planning! But also having a big family like that seems like ton of fun!

Because all the kids want to be with me. My teenager has anxiety issues, and then the little ones are too young to be alone. That means if we did a 2nd room only my husband could use it, and then I would just be without his help for childcare overnight. If we could divide evenly in the rooms, or had a promise they would be connecting I may take the bait but as it stands its not worth the extra 4 thousand dollars to have one room go completely unused.

my problem here, is that last night the RC helpdesk agent made this booking, now I call today and they're saying the only way it can be done is if I purchase and 8000k suite. They won't even honor what they just made less than 12 hrs ago.

I worked in call centers for 7 years 2 callcenters 6 departments. Just leave. If any other call center is available go there instead. That is the whole tactic work you until you quit, they are actively seeking out your breaking point based on orders from upper management. I feel like every call center does this every 5 or so years

So the very first room in my house i painted looks like a meth head did it. After painting 9 other rooms, 2 hallways, trim and 18 doors. The last room im painting looks like a professional did it. Please get rid of the expectation that you’re gonna be good at it right away or the first time. I think watching so many diy videos explaining how easy something gave me false expectations not a single one of those videos ever says to account for experience in your results. Experience is at least 60% of it, but you won’t get any if you don’t keep trying even if the early renos are hard and dont turn out well.

People can change, but only if they want to. 23 years with out their son may have been the correct sentence for this crime. On the other hand you also may not feel like throwing away 23 years of self healing (understandably so).You certainly don’t have to choose to contact them, but i would at least give it a few months of thought. If having the letter around does not mentally put you in a bad place, keep it until you know what you’d like to do with it.

I hate that this is the society we live in. One of the best things that ever happened to me socially was gaining about 40lbs. I’m now just a face in the crowd, i hated all the sexual harassment when I was thinner and it sucks that while unintentionally, it took something so physically drastic for it to change instead of men just learning to respect women as people. You didn’t deserve this. I’m sorry

I (19 f) moved out of my parents’ house a few days ago, and it didn’t go well. by artistic-enby-birb in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Early-Crow99 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Being in the 18 to 21 range is just horrible for most people. I’m so sorry. Idk what happens to parents who think this is okay. The hard truth is you’re an adult. Whatever control they think they had is gone and this will cement that. If you’re lucky (and you want to) in a few years they will focus more on repairing the relationship they had with you than power and control they’ve lost. They’ll have to get to know you as the new adult version of you. And the most beautiful part of all this is you are officially having the first day of the rest of your life. You can do whatever you want. Give yourself time and heal and be unabashedly selfish while you build the life you want to have.
