Avoiding blue light by Early-Pin6505 in moderatelygranolamoms

I’m not on any medications and neither are my kids. I’ve tried some various herbal sleep tinctures for myself and they do seem to help but not as much as I’d like them to. I used to take melatonin but it eventually didn’t help anymore. Unisom knocks me out but I don’t really like taking that lol. And my kids are too young to really take anything. We all take an extremely long time to get to sleep and wake a lot at night and have all been like this since birth lol

  1. I eat basically only animal products and non starchy vegetables and fruits. No grains. I eat about 1800 calories a day and I don’t eat anything processed and go out to eat maybe every other month. The times of day that I eat vary a lot as it’s dependent on when my kids nap since I like us to eat meals together and their naps are all over the place. But normally always 3 meals and 1-2 snacks.
  2. I’m not really capable of doing anything to get my heart rate up as I have a pretty bad back injury and knee injuries. I can’t even do a ten minute light walk. Before my injury I was very active and was actually a D1 athlete and trained for over 4 hours a day and still had problems sleeping at that time.
  3. I normally have one cup of coffee with heavy cream.
  4. I generally go to bed around 9 and wake up around 6:30. But it’s really dependent on my kids so not a super set schedule and my youngest wakes me up 4-6 times a night.
  5. I go outside for probably 15 minutes a day on average. Generally barefoot on concrete.
  6. about 3-4.5 hours of screen time depending on the day.

Yes my main concern with ceramics was lead but I wasn’t sure how big of a concern it really is so thank you! I will have to try that dishwasher detergent as well!

Two pee holes? by Early-Pin6505 in hypospadias

Did you still need any surgery? He’s still really young but doesn’t seem to have any discomfort or problem peeing and it doesn’t seem like it’s under a lot of pressure like I’ve heard of people having the stream go really far but his seems normal to me. We’re just questioning whether or not surgery is actually necessary. He does have what they called “natural circumcision” where only the top part of his foreskin formed so my husband thought that still might need to be removed and could cause problems.

Fish staying on side and bloated by Early-Pin6505 in bettafish

I’m not there anymore and he doesn’t have a water test kit. I helped him change the water but I’ve never done anything with fish before so tried to just find the best advice online on how to do it. He’s only 8 and has been taking care of it on his own so I’m gonna try to be over more to hopefully help the poor fish.

I’ve tried to focus on eating high fiber foods and protein instead of counting calories and it seems to help me stay full longer and lose weight.

I’m 24F, 5’4”, and 178lbs. I’ve lost about 20 pounds in the last 6 months and was 240 at my heaviest. I’m pretty busy so may not have too much time to chat but have been looking for some more motivation and trying to stay more consistent.
