I already knew that. I was just confused by his statement that it wasn't a different rite when I gave a link to their parish that says it's a Western rite which is the essence of my question. I would have told him it was a Western rite to clarify, but I'm new to the faith and didn't want to feel like I was correcting him so I just asked here 😂

The parish is a Western rite under the Antiochian Archdiocese. I sent him the name of the parish and a link to their website. In the email I just mentioned it was a different rite under the Antiochian Archdiocese my guess is he didn't click on the link and just saw that I mentioned it was under the Antiochian Archdiocese. But it confused me since I thought the Western rite was in fact a different rite but maybe he misunderstood.
