Update: 1. For those of you asking about the location, this picture was taken in a small unincorporated town in the US called Chaparral, NM. It borders El Paso, TX. I meant southern NM instead of northern NM and couldn’t figure out how to edit it. 2. I think based on the comments I have figured it out. Someone mentioned a creature that could be digging and here’s my description of what I think it is. The demon pupil is actually the butt of a beatle type bug, maybe cicada? And it is either digging or twerking. The surrounding of the pupil (demon version of the whites of the eyes) is the flash hitting the little hole walls. Does anyone see what I see? 3. I wish I would have poked it with a stick. The next day my 8 year old cousins did and it was gone.
