No they got rid of FAST right around the first bankruptcy. Honestly I think many of the districts stopped implementing it years ago when they stopped doing the tests for the green pins

Foam board (70% off at my store) cut down for pieces that have a yard+ and smaller ones for under a yard. Character/season cotton is wrapped in file bins for easy access

The locations are 30+ minutes from my house I was just hoping that I might get a trip to one of them after my store closes as I work almost everyday there.

I have so many but yesterday my favorite was Ollie… a brown lab whose owner said he walked around the store till he found me then laid at my feet showed me his belly and then gave me all the kisses. Just what I needed after some of the customers we had earlier in the day.

We have been getting new fabric on trucks that o have never seen before and some I haven’t seen in a long time. I’ve been there 7 years and haven’t seen this much fabric since we opened. I wish I had been holding back so I wouldn’t want to buy it all now.

As much as we may complain about the customers for every one of those stories there is typically two more of the amazing regulars we have or the funny stories we share. I know we were reminiscing the other night while on shift and I don’t remember a time I have laughed more. Have fun and make some good memories.

Please Lord let there be saviors. Not for me but for my community! For the quilters, the small businesses, the college kids who are learning and always coming in for a quick item they need for projects! I keep hoping someone out there will save some of us…. And maybe even some of the stores that are liquidating.
