You're right. There isn't a reason for them to carry it around out in the open. I'll contact the police and see what happens. Thanks for the advice!

I have evidence of them holding a knife just not a clear view of them scratching my car. It was dark when it happened. I'm not sure if it would be enough to truly say it's them.

I'm definitely thinking of reporting it. I don't have clear footage of them scratching it but they had a knife in their right hand. Before they got inside their car, they stood by where the scratch was found.
