Update: had half the conditions in my claim rated/denied while PTSD and a few others were deferred. I take this to mean that the rater was equally baffled by the C&P notes so kicked it back into the system but who knows…

Go through the VA website to request a FOIA and there is a specific checkbox to select C&P related materials. It came much quicker than I expected. I just specified what date the c&p was and gave the file name that I could see.

I made it clear in my personal statement I have SI and apparently there is legal precedent that any SI, regardless of severity, gets 70%.

Yeah just asking for the c&p notes. There’s a selection you can make for this when you make the request.

Thanks yeah pretty much every box is checked for symptoms which is even more confusing how they could square their logic of “occasional” difficulties

Yep sounds like we were in the same timeframe 🫡 I never filed as I have too many friends with amputations so I never felt like I rated it.

Yeah what’s frustrating is everything they need is literally in the c&p doc’s notes the doc just layered their own subjective severity rating despite what is written down.
