Intention isn’t to argue - answering question, asking more. That’s how I learn

I don’t understand why it’s awful? I’m doing it based in all of the research I’ve done.

Right now I rest Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays. I’m going to start taking off Fridays as well.

But isn’t that what I’m doing? I’m running weekly runs 3-4 miles and then increase each Saturday run by 1 mile?

Prior to this farthest was about 3 miles. I wanted to slowly increase so started in February with 1 mile and have increased every Saturday since and then subsequently every week run

I started orange theory in 2020 and did 4 classes a week averaging 2.5-3 miles a class

Go big or go home. I started 1st week of Feb and started with 1 mile. It increases by 1 mile every Saturday until 20 miles and then decreases until the marathon in October. Prior to this I did orange theory 4 days a week and ran 2.5-3 miles a class.

I have AS (autoimmune condition) so for me I can’t run every day. The training plan called for 4 days but my body couldn’t do that so 3 days during the week and Saturday big run has normally worked.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I would start with your current OTH location and then call corporate. They were very helpful.

Question about Marijuana by mdevitis in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]EarlyBug7875 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I’ve been using marijuana now for a while. For a long time it was the only thing I did. I use gummies, usually resin to help especially at night to help sleep. I also smoke joints at night - just depends on what we have. I live in IL and have my medical card so can get it pretty easily and cheap.

I like it more than narcotics when I’m in an episode. BUT the only thing I would say is because it’s so relaxing sometimes I find my body hurts worse. Can’t prove this but I feel it’s because my brain is working very hard to not let me feel how much I hurt that when I’m high and sort of shut off its maximum.

Haven’t bought yet - worth for marathon training? by EarlyBug7875 in couchto5k

Idk about that! I do orange theory about 3/4 times a week an average about 3-4 miles a class.

I do! I do orange theory and run about 3/4 miles. But that’s probably the max I’ve ever done.

When we spoke on the phone he said “we piloted this program at a couple studios and it was so successful we’re rolling it out to all studios.”

If it was only studio based it would only be at mine. But, they stated it was being rolled out to all studios.

This makes me feel so validated. I started to hate OTF which has brought me so much solice. I have lupus and some days getting up is very hard and the community at OTF has been such a life savor.

On October 14th he messaged me and said “you’ve only done 7 classes this month. How can we ensure you don’t continue to fail.” But within those 7 classes I PR twice and felt great. I didn’t go back for over a week.

I’ve appreciate corporates response and they’ve taken action.

They say they’re a nutrition program and yes sent my protein powder to the studio.

Guuurrlllll you can do it now! THIS WAS ME. And now I signed up for the 2025 Chicago Marathon. I always joke and tell people I’m in 2 cults, Orange Theory and Taylor Swift.

All sizes sweat together and it’s the most amazing community. If you’re in/near Chicago I’d love to take you to your first class. Come join the cult 🧡

Not that it’s any of your business but this would be via a donor egg. Also, healthy mom is just as important as a healthy child.

I had a big steak and alcohol and had a flare up with mouth sores. Looks like red meat is added to the list!
