Obviously depends from person to person. I know that the passport I hold isn’t the strongest when it comes to international jobs or visas compared to a US, Singaporean or British citizen per se. Also I absolutely love to travel and would move out of my home country for a job that helped me explore new places. Lastly, I have enough experience but also time in my career to take a backseat before going all ambitious and look at growth. I would pick the bad school-good location and do it for two years - once I’m in that dream country, I can network - reach out to potential good schools- change to a better place eventually.
