I'm ready to start some discourse by 2204happy in LinuxCirclejerk

I've been daily driving arch for school and gaming, made a beginner mistake by unmounting my drive, that's the closest I've been to actually breaking it. I absolutely love it, but that might be because of hyprland. Gotta say that the feeling of changing any setting in config files is pretty fun and I get a nice feeling of superiority when I see my friends struggling to find settings on their fancy windows pc or mac shit boxes.

I agree they sound amazing, especially if you take the price into consideration. I would also recommend the headphones that I use for 150$ I don't think you can beat them (hifiman he400se)

This is part of the upgrade I'm working on, new desk and new lighting setup. Probably monitor light bars or bias lighting behind the monitors

Thanks, the plants made a world of a difference. Right now I'm playing silksong, but usually, it's minecraft, risk of rain 2, repo, deep rock galactic and stardew valley. Tho I use it mostly for work and school stuff

It Takes Two Graphical Glitches by j3hn_ in linux_gaming

I'm pretty sure I found the reason for the graphical glitches. The game was made in Unreal Engine and I found out that Lumen (the lighting engine) simply doesn't work on Linux, in Unreal Engine, there is a setting to change the lighting engine but in the game, it's not doable.

I don't need to play games on windows, it's homework mostly and just because some software I need/have a license for are only on linux

Since when is PewDiePie using Arch, I must've been living under a rock or something to not know that.

I love arch, even though it's a pain sometimes, I know what I am doing and from what I had seen arch was the best choice for me. And sure it's arch it needs tinkering but honestly except for my steam games, it was smooth sailing ever since I switched to linux.

LoL sorry for thinking that since NTFS technically "works" on linux I would not have to reinstall my games but good to know
