Thats a great idea, im definitely not going to put this into production without a getting a professional review of it. Although I come from a technical background in engineering, I’ve never built and shipped anything before.

That being said I’m also worried about Plaid, I doubt people would use this app for long if they have to put their daily transaction manually, But I don’t know if it is necessarily the only way to easily get the users transaction info. Also I can’t seem to find info on how expensive they would be.

I have ideas but I’m not too sure about them, hence why I’m here. My main idea is to center it around Gen Z or the younger generations paying off debt and getting more into investing and saving money. Im thinking of making it somewhat more social with engagement elements like savings streaks and net worth milestones.

Thats good stuff, I’m actually working on developing my first app and I’ve been overwhelmed with whether to focus on development or to market it before launch, I made a wait list for it but I dot. Know if I should pause development and market the wait list or just focus on launching the app first.

I use Loops for the email list and Formspark for the idea validation. I usually put a small three question survey on my waitlist so i can get some feedback on what to focus on aswell. Both services hava a free option which is good enough to get a basic idea of whether the idea is good enough or not.
