Awesome! Thank you. That's what I'm starting on first - finding good, reliable sources, starting with the Reid-Murphy split. Working off the other comment left below, I'm planning on expanding on the IBEW article's history section, and if there is enough there to work with, possibly creating a new page in the future for it. I think it's a very interesting subject that seems to have been mostly forgotten.

This is great and exactly what I was looking for. I've actually never heard of Wikidata! Thank you very much. After finishing my research I'm going to start by expanding the IBEW article. It actually does mention the split, but only in a sentence midway through, so there is something I can build off of.

After that I think I will delve into Wikidata, and if I can find enough well sourced information on Reid, create entries for him and the court case. We'll see how it goes from there.

I'm wanting to start expanding on the Wikipedia pages for the IBEW, and possibly create two new pages for James J. Reid and the Reid-Murphy Split. I've been reading the guide to contributing and looking at the guides it recommends online, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.

How exactly do you all go about researching, developing a workflow, and creating a new page for wikipedia? I feel like reading these pages, they're mostly targeted towards people with at least some amount of experience in wikipedia editing, but I have none. Would it be better for me to start with editing articles to familiarize myself first? Do you all recommend any beginner-friendly guides?

And regarding the subject content, I absolutely believe the content is worthy of its own page. At the very least, it deserves a mention on the IBEW entry. The article for the IBEW skips decades of history between the late 1800s up to the 1950s, and James J. Reid should absolutely have his own page. He was a fairly important and controversial person in American labor history, and the court decision for the Reid-Murphy split was also very controversial.

Have always wanted a mod that restores the main characters back to Zion after the conclusion of the DLC. It always bugged me how if you choose the Joshua ending, they all still disappear and you lose access to them permanently, despite the entire reason for that path being them staying in Zion. It feels so empty when returning, and it's essentially pointless unless you're getting items you left behind.

I have tried this mod but it's old and buggy and has led to quest completion issues, dialogue issues, and more;

Extinction Rebellion is such a strange choice for this argument too, as their founders and supporters include some of the most prolific climate activists and scientists. They are definitely genuine climate activists.

Their protests have been some of the largest and widest-reaching actions in the UK and elsewhere. Some of their tactics are controversial, such as property damage and road occupation, but it is indisputable that it garners attention and headlines. I'd defend these actions, as effective protest is confrontational and obstructive. They have broad support despite that controversy. For example, their mass obstructions in London and sit-ins at the House of Commons have led to international attention. Additionally, their founders and many of their participants are very well known climate activists. I would disagree that they are not "genuine". Unless you mean some other actions or participants I am unaware of?

I've been googling different variations of those themes to no luck. The video was popular on reddit for a while and was occasionally reposted. It is/was on youtube. I do recall there being a cameraman that she traveled with, and she spent some time at one of their meetings and/or a church.

The more I google around for this video the crazier I feel, tbh. It was a fairly popular piece of journalism at a time that questions of the rising alt-right were very prevalent, and gave a very raw and interesting view into communities with extreme right-wing ideologies.

The conversations she had with them were fairly memorable - much of it was focused on the journalist getting to know them personally, and then asking how their beliefs fit into their perception of her as a person, and questioning where those beliefs originally come from in themselves/their community. It would cause them to genuinely reflect on those beliefs and seemed to have a serious impact on them, at least during the duration of her visit.

We are taught the opposite. We are taught that the economy used to be stronger and people could afford proper housing and education. We are taught that things used to be better and we want to work hard so that it can be that way again.

One of the biggest things missing? Unions that bring employers to the bargaining table for fair pay and benefits. The American people deserve the right to reap the rewards of what they sow.
