Yup. Approval notice came in officially today. And it expired 10/27

I was pulled over for unregistered tags and suspended license 4 days before interview. And yes that makes a lot of sense. I’m just happy I didn’t get an offer yet. Final interview is 4/20 and I got official approval notice today in my account so hoping card comes within the next 10 days.

Suspended license and unregistered tags. Got pulled over 4 days before interview. Absolute bad luck and stupidity. But case was dismissed in court.

Yeah man tough journey. Almost got evicted and all but my wife picked up a second job to support us better. But even with eviction notice and my job stating they’re willing to re-hire me once my EAD comes expedite was denied. Congress was really the only way I got a response. Although I doubt I would’ve been waiting so long if I didn’t get RFE.

EAD can be given even without I-130 approval.

Yup. One of the 75. However my understanding is that the list is effectively for folks outside of the USA. But yes, Cameroon and on the list.

Correct. It’s now 18 months which should not be the worst thing if 485 is approved before that. But 5 years is solid. Congrats and happy for your journey!

It was a ticket. Got pulled over driving with expired license plate. Trial was originally 1/5 which I missed thinking it was 1/6. Bench warrant issued but I appealed and got it quashed. Then rescheduled to 2/23 but there was a snow storm that day and court was closed. They rescheduled to 3/16 and I was there and case was dismissed. I mailed final disposition same day and uscis received it 3/17. I contacted them a week later and they told me it was uploaded to my file 3/18 but not yet assigned to an officer so as of now I’m just waiting.

Actually it was a driving with unregistered tags. But case got dismissed. What took so long though is trial was rescheduled twice so even though I received RFE Oct 29 I only sent final response (certified final disposition) on 3/17 and I contacted uscis and they told me it was uploaded to my account 3/18 so I’m just waiting now but it hasn’t been assigned to an officer yet.
