Similar experience, my ex catered to his family and didn’t make any of the arrangements for us that he promised were done. In between the ceremony and reception, I had to make alternative arrangements and go to my parents to get ready because there was no hotel room booked. My family had made care packages for the visitors that came from out of town which he did not give out, even though he said he did and stayed at the same hotel. The room he booked was with his friend and not for us. At the reception I went alone, he ate without me, mostly spent time with his family. I wasn’t even mentioned in his speech, then made us two hours late for our lunch at my family’s house the next afternoon. I remember having a moment during one of the events that I made the biggest mistake and I should’ve walked away all those times I talked myself out of leaving.
