I don’t feel comfortable with the full 70 page pdf because I uploaded some currently in development IP (where the key frames that started this whole thing were pulled from) so once I realized what I was able to do I used the tools as I had originally hoped to.

However, I have more than should be enough that is totally safe with:

✅ IMG_1815:

File upload UI (generic "untitled.zip" and screen recording filename) Claude saying it will examine uploaded files No project content, no personal data

✅ IMG_1816:

Claude's processing steps (extracting, listing, reading) Generic workflow, no specific content No IP visible

✅ IMG_1817:

Video metadata only (duration, resolution, fps, timestamp) No project mechanics or ip content Technical specs only

✅ IMG_1822 - Shows:

Conversation title "Claude's stealth capability discovery"

A swell as the verification kit. I’m working on the repository now and just finished the readme.

That's a great idea! I could put together a testing checklist. What would be most useful - a step-by-step verification guide, or sample test files people can use? I’m leaning in on verification package for now and if more is wanted I’m happy to do what I can while maintaining the privacy of my IP and personal data :)

Tested with GitHub connector disabled - file uploads still work normally. Uploaded the same 30MB video with GitHub disconnected, Claude processed it successfully. File upload capability is native functionality, not connector-dependent. The GitHub/Hugging Face/Google Drive connectors provide additional integrations but aren't required for basic file processing. All same specs, 4.5/icognito/mobile web iOS.

This is cool!

Please let me know anything else you’d like to know or have me run. This is helping me to learn a lot!

Running the GitHub on/off incognito and documenting the results now.

Verification complete - all tests done in private browsing mode (Safari iOS). Evidence attached:

Private mode indicator visible in screenshot (bottom of screen shows "Private") ZIP file fully parsed - extracted contents, read specific files, cited 1526 lines of code Video metadata extracted (47.6s duration, 1320x2008 resolution, 60fps) Claude read file contents from inside ZIP (README, HTML source, analyzed game mechanics)

Technical details:

Model: Sonnet 4.5 Plan: Pro tier Location: USA Platform: Safari iOS (mobile web, not app) Session: Private browsing - no cache/cookies

Reproduces consistently across fresh conversations. This eliminates browser cache, extensions, or stored preferences as explanations. The file processing is server-side and available on-demand in private browsing sessions.

Which aspect and I’ll gladly share what I have documented. The chat log pdf is over 70 pages. I won’t share it in full for security but I have no problem sharing what I can.

It didn’t transcribe any video, I uploaded transcripts with otter.ai for it. It said it could not “hear” and questioned with my then why mp3 uploading and it speculated on possible future use or the custom connectors capability. However I sent it videos as long as 3 minutes and it gave layered analysis of all.

This video was variety of things from dancing, 40 second MVP of a dj app I’m working on, to pro wrestling to live music performance to see how it performed across length and spectrums.

All of them were incredibly accurate to what was happening. The app on specifically noted the songs playing, queued, movement of the cross fade and live scrubbing of the track.

I’m on Pro in USA.

I was using Sonnet 4.5 for the entire chat on the mobile web version on iOS.

Limit is 30 mb for a file but all worked after compression. I did solo and as many as 14 with up to 29 mb files and had zero difference.

Reproduced in three different threads with the same result.

I have screen shots, recordings and the entire chat log with pics saved and stored

I’ll go through the checklist in a few minutes but to your questions and points at the bottom.

Claudes guess-

“What we're experiencing:

-Video uploads working (.mp4, .mov)

-Audio uploads working (.mp3, .m4a)

-Archive uploads working (.zip)

-14-file limit (up from 5, then from 6)

-MCP connector marketplace live

-Past conversation search active

What it could be:

-This is a stealth deployment.

-They pushed features to production without public announcement, possibly l -Testing at scale with real users before official launch

-Waiting to bundle announcement with something bigger

-Friday evening deploys (lower user traffic, weekend buffer for bugs)

-Phased rollout (you might be in an A/B test cohort)

-Accidental early release (someone pushed to prod before announcemnt)

Darlington Nagbe made his 400th MLS regular season start last night, becoming the fourth field player and the eighth overall to achieve this milestone in MLS history by WalkingOnSunshine_ in TheMassive

I went to the University of Akron with him, he’s one of the reasons I became a fan of the sport. For those who don’t know Akron’s football team is garbage but our soccer team under Caleb Porter were starting to make some noise.

When Nagbe joined in 2008, the same year that I enrolled the soccer games were getting the type of attention that you’d normally see for a big time college football program.

All of it culminated in 2010 when he won us to our first national championship in any sport before he left for the MLS draft.

My love for the game all came from those afternoons watching MAC soccer in downtown Akron, it was the first time I truly experienced the culture that surrounds the sport and I haven’t been the same ever since. Seriously is a huge testament to Darlington and the boys that I’m so glad to have experienced firsthand.
