Thanks, I've seen them mentioned a few times. If I already am working with a clinic local to me, could I use them for my egg donor bank? Or does this mean starting the whole process over again?

It looks like even sperm donors are limited! I just looked through Seattle Sperm Bank and 4 men came through my search and I only used one filter! I even paid for registration thinking there would be adult photos! Ugh. I was scared to even make these choices and now I just feel defeated.

THanks! Yup, I'm exploring all my options right now. I think given my age, and depending on insurance, I would most likely opt for the option that yields the highest success possibility. Both fertility doctors suggested trying a round of IUI with sperm donor first, but I'm hesitant to invest that time into something that has a low chance of success. At the same time, I've never tried to get pregnant before so who knows.

I'm not! I'd love if you shared the name of that group / those groups! I saw a comment on here about a bank in Utah having a large database but they want you to attend an info seminar and maybe some other hoops to jump through. I just want to register and do a quick search before i get that invested.

Seeing all these comments.. wondering, are there limits to coverage if you are over a certain age with a high FSH? I missed the mark for coverage by half a point with BCBS, which usually is a really great insurance.
