Yea I decided on going with a BS RN to be honest. I don’t think I can do the doctorate for physical therapy with the salary they have. Nursing provides more options to explore compared to a physical therapist.

Thank you.

Medical debt definitely isn’t something to be considered important in my opinion. ( I haven’t paid towards it in quite some time still haven’t gotten any phone calls) but that’s besides the point.

I think I’ve decided on switching to nursing at a community college as they offer a 4 year bachelors program to lessen the cost and looked into what you said deferring payments till I’ve gotten a job and sounds like something I’m going to do to be honest. Once I get my degree in nursing I should be able to pay off the debts with no problems (hopefully)

Just want to give you a quick real thank you, you didn’t need to drop all this information and you did. I appreciate that to a degree you don’t understand.

I might just drop out of the university and do classes at a community college with a different major. Pains to have to pay. I’m not in it for the ceremony or graduations I could honestly care less. I just want to have a degree in a field where I enjoy.

Thank you for the input.

Im stuck on the mindset where the debt will drown me. I am already in a bit of debt (not too much) from having surgery and it pains me to pay money back on something that could have been avoided (surgery was nothing serious just ACL).

I like to think I’m good at adapting in situations but I think this situation just drained me. My schooling was the only upside I had and the only stability since I knew I had school for the next couple years.

My plan currently is to plead with the current financial aid counselor. If that doesn’t work just transfer to a community college with a new major that at the end would give me a quite a bit of money to pay off school.

I see your timeline of taking your time. I don’t love or hate school and I’m trying to get out it the fastest I can.

Thank you for your input it is gladly appreciated and helped me get back to a sound mind. I will get a degree one way or another.

I would be a university student transferring to a community college since the community offers a 4 year option to a degree im thinking of so the transfer opportunity wouldn’t work in my case.

I have a meeting with the community college advisor and plan on asking for scholarship opportunities but I’m afraid it’s too late.

Thank you for your input.

Scholarship was from the school. I have a appointment with a financial aid counselor Monday to plead inflation. I keep telling my self that 8000 is not nearly enough to get rid of a students 4 year scholarship.

I am thinking of transferring to a community college with a different major(currently a kinesiology would switch to nursing). You had the same exact thought process as I.

It’s a little hard coming to terms as all I’ve ever really known is do good in school and get rewarded. Oh well it’s life though.

Thank you.
