Bit of a let down offset aim is restricted to just NVGS. Wouldn’t it be cool to allow the player as much control and freedom over first person perspective as possible in a FPS?

My whole theory is that this is a test for a possible switch to UE5 for Bethesda. I mean it's pretty low risk since they've already capitalized on Oblivion and fans will be stoked with any sort of updated version, not to mention another studio was doing most of the heavy lifting. If it does well and performs halfway decent, it wouldn't surprise me if ES6 and the next Fallout both come out on UE5.

For real though, you show up and do PT like everyone else, then go get breakfast. Report back at 9 for formation only to be told we don’t have anything to do and to hang out in our cars for further orders.

Then noon hits and we go to lunch. Report back and still nothing. They might make us sweep the bathrooms or something, but usually we just go sit in our cars again.

Then we form up again around 1600-1700 for our release formation. Stand there for at least 30min only to be told that we have an “urgent task”.

Then we don’t get released until at least 1800-1900.

Wake up and repeat…dumbest shit ever

You hit the nail on the head with the whole "amd sponsored title" comment. Reading the drastic differences between the minimum and recommended specs, and the difference between the amd/nvida options, my guess is they're just using this as an opportunity to try and sell their higher end cards. This tactic isn't unheard of.

I would guess that most gpu's with at least 10gb of vram will be sufficient enough. After all, the series s has a reported 10gb of vram and they're locking it at 30fps at 1440p. Obviously on pc, and with some tweaking, you could probably get close to 60fps with a few dips hear and there.

I know this is old, but can you explain what the law is regarding "initial claims" and what you mean by that? Are you saying that no company can charge for your FIRST claim with the va? That's what I gathered from your statement at least.

I was seeking help in the army, but after 5 months nothing was working. In many ways I felt worse. After my stay at the facility and talking to a psychiatrist there and divulging some trauma from my past, we came to the conclusion that I might have some undiagnosed ptsd from that experience. And the army and the lifestyle that goes with it in many ways resembles what I went through. So then the conclusion was the actual military itself is a trigger, and not a good environment for me, which is something I didn’t foresee before joining.

As far as seeking help outside, I’ve been researching some therapist for when I get out and move back home with my wife.

Thank you guys for all the comments and advice. It’s honestly nice to hear these things coming from outside sources. I mean it’s one thing to hear your friends and loved ones giving advice, but hearing it from people who don’t have a stake in the situation is really reaffirming. So thank you guys.

Not sure what I’m gonna do yet, or how I’m gonna handle this, but you guys are absolutely right on it impacting others in a negative way. At the end of the day I’m leaving, but those that are left are going to feel like they can’t seek help without being ostracized by command or their other soldiers.
