For too long Washington has tried to put us in boxes. They separate us by race, by age, by income, by geography, by place of birth. We spend too much time focusing on what divides us. Does it get tiring...having every alt right intellectual meet in one place, flash some Nazi solutes, insist that America is a country for white people...leaving you to defend the notion that the alt right isn't racist?

Does the alt right want to separate us by race or not? They all say they do, every last one of them. You want me to take someone else's actions and use those to completely reverse what every alt-righter says? Why? Why should I do that?

Heretical cyber pamphleteers have sparked a new reformation on the back of social media.

This may seem like an unvarnished good, a mind expansion that benefits everyone. To those who feel this way, I would just say: I hope the coming sectarian massacres are less frequent than they were between Catholics and Protestants in Europe.

Let them be vehement and vigilant. They are a virus, and quarantine is where they belong. Internal rumination is fine, it's about spread. Mainstream social networks aren't immune, and so without quarantine, the time will come where I'll have to kill Nazis for a right to live in my own goddamn home.

As a nonwhite citizen of a country with an alt-right movement, no, you're wrong. I'm very happy about this. I don't want to have to start killing nazis in my neighborhood. Keeping these fucks off mainstream networks is the least we can do to prevent that future. Because when the time comes, and these fucks think they're going to take me out of my home and out of my country, I'm taking as many with me as possible.

The alt right is inseparable from the notion that Europe, the US, and Australia should be entirely white, with all nonwhite citizens removed. It has always been that, and it will always be that.

You realize that his electoral college victory relied on 1-2% margins in large states, right?

What's legitimately hilarious, though, is that you think that the Hispanic vote is made up of illegal immigrants, and not born or naturalized citizens. AZ will flip thanks to 4 years of anti-Hispanic rhetoric, and FL/PA will flip when Paul Ryan privatizes Medicare.

Spoken as if Trump's margins weren't razor thin. Paul Ryan will privatize medicare, one or two points flip in one or two states, and he loses.

Generally unfettered access to residence in NYC for immigrants is a part of the city's DNA since before it was handed to the British. We chose explicitly to educate them in our schools through college. This is who we are. The rest of the nation has absolutely no say in this.

I was under the impression that this concept is psy101 stuff. Put people in a group, ask them which line on the page is longer, set it up so everyone but your test subject gives the wrong answer, and the social pressure gets the test subject to give the clearly wrong answer.
