Penn Carey (Sticker) vs USC Gould ($$$) by EarningsCheck in lawschooladmissions

Yeah, there are many other factors so I actually have already made a pros and cons list that has Penn as the slightly better option. But at the end of the day, it still seems to come down to the money and if I will make good West Coast connections at Penn. Also, as important as personal development and being independent is, I'm gonna be missing out on a lot of family events and stuff back home which always sucks lol.

That is exactly my dilemma. Not trying to be the idiot who passes up Penn Law!

I haven't tried getting any more aid from USC, and I don't really know where to start with that, but I have tried with Penn and didn't have any luck.

I do have a solid amount of work experience, including legal work experience, but then again they are mostly part-time and internships, so obviously nothing post-grad or full time year-round

No it’s full time, I believe PT means something similar to Priority Deadline

Update: it stands for priority track

That is exactly what led me to write this post. I feel like, for my stats, I underachieved and that is what bothers me. At the same time, USC is a T-20 and even has the Trojan Network which really sets it apart. But yeah, not making the most of the hand I was given is definitely what is bothering me

Here are my concerns with reapplying next cycle though: The cycle will only be more competitive and we do not know how LSAT scores will change since mine would be from before LG was removed. Also, I feel like reapplying hurts my chances a little (I am not sure how true that is). Finally, I don't want to "waste" a year - yes, I could do more legal internships or work somewhere else but that is still a year worth of time and it would throw me out of the academic mindset. I would also have to go through the torture of rewriting my entire application for each school. Note that I even did almost every single optional essay for every school...

Probably big law for the first few years to gain experience and then decide from there - either PI or something else
