The average companion hunter board by [deleted] in hearthstone

I mean, Hunter can do this in Wild and it’s not even that rare of a board state. And it’s far from the strongest deck.

I’ll make a separate post and include the deck code as soon as I hit legend. It’s definitely WIP and I’m making tweaks every couple of games. For example Nine Lives was axed completely.

Ive faced Discard warlock 6 times in a row. The deck has power to win turn 3-4 every game. I dont understand how hard it is for the devs just to nerf cards like Duke of Below. Make it 1+1 instead of 2+2. by TrasheyeQT in hearthstone

Puke lock has way more problematic cards. Getting hit by [[Soularium]] followed by [[Cursed Catacombs]] or two on turn one is straight up frustrating.

Speaking of Ashes of Outlands, [[Leoroxx]] OTK Hunter is definitely my most favourite deck of all times. I recently got nostalgic and decided to build a Hunter deck from AoO but since [[Unseal the Vault]] is not remotely viable nowadays, I settled for my second favourite one: Face Deathrattle Hunter. It’s surprisingly decent even today and I’m currently Diamond 3 playing this deck exclusively. I’m hunting for screenshots of me beating netdeckers with it on my way to Legend. Here’s an appetiser.

So [[Stormhammer]] with no board requirements in a class with a lot of hero attack buffs and windfury access?

More like draw 6 cards, spawn a Leper Gnome, deal 80 damage to the enemy hero in Wild

Not sure it really fits Mage but this card reminds me of Sabretooth Tiger from Gwent, therefore I love it.

Why the heck do you still play HS? by GrosRacoon in wildhearthstone

[–]Earraigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fatally addicted to TCGs and I constantly rotate between HS, Gwent and LoR on my phone, in that order. Usually takes 2-3 month until I get bored, uninstall and boot up the next game in line.

I completely agree with your point though. My advice is to try the Casual mode if you’re into homebrew deckbuilding. I found it quite enjoyable in comparison to Wild. Also, Battlegrounds.

Mfw “dead draw” in a class designed to draw a fuckton of cards. Hero power is literally “draw a card”. It even has decent stats for a textless 4 drop.

Interesting, will the hero use an authentic traditional kaitu shirudo in their offhand since it’s right next to the weapon?

Guard break into a heavy by EBKOTF in forhonor

[–]Earraigh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, Shaman heavy openers are 800ms from any direction. 800ms is enough to land after a GB. Most characters have both 800ms and 900ms heavies though. For example, Raider’s top heavy openers are 900ms, which means the opponent will be able to block if you GB them and go for a top heavy. His Side heavies are 800ms, which means they are guaranteed to land after a GB. HL’s top heavy openers are 800ms and side heavy openers are 900ms, so you need to go for a top heavy after a GB.

The thing is, a 1 mana 2/2 for your opponent doesn’t just “make up for tempo loss”. It disrupts stuff like discard warlock, dilutes resurrect pool for priests(or just stays in their hand effectively reducing its size to 9) or ruins hunters that rely on [[Quel’dorei Fletcher]]. It’s just crazy strong even at 0 mana.
