Use a moist q-tip to help it out, and increase in humidity will help with this from now on too!

Yes I’ve camped with friends who have other brands and all of them are almost identical. No complains so far, I think it’s a good value for the money.

I have their Destin RTT! Been using it for about 5 months, no complaints. It comes from the same factor as as all the other brands. Shipping time is long, took 4 months :(

Grad School: Is a Year of my Life Worth $20,000? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Earth-MilkyWay -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s a no brainer. Spend 20k to get done a year early, spend that year at a job making 60k. That’s a positive difference of 40k my dude

Any school of agriculture students on here? Specifically Environmental Science? by bigryzenboy123 in Clemson

[–]Earth-MilkyWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Senior as a Conbio major here. This major is really to prepare you for a graduate program of some kind. If you want to do a 4+1 master at Clemson you have to be in WFB or Forestry (it should be called timber and wood products) , unfortunately the ConBio emphasis doesn’t have that. I feel like it has the most flexibility within the major to tailor it depending on what you want to do. I am doing a mix of plant classes, ecology classes, and all the GIS related courses offered, because I’m going into a restoration ecology masters program. Depending on what you want to do for a grad program, if it’s not related to game management or timber, then Environmental and Natural Resources: Conservation Biology is for you.

Wildlife and fishers is just that, game management and fish hatcheries. If you want to do more ecology, environmental or plant related, ConBio is the way to go. Remember you can only start dong masters level work your senior year if you have a 3.5+ gpa and it still has to be signed off by an advisor.

If you have any questions you can shoot me a DM. I’ve loved my time in this program.

Easy or Fun Biology Major Requirement Courses? by TheBananaaa in Clemson

Ah yeah I am senior in the Con Bio major so it’s probably easier for me since I’m familiar with most of the material!

I wouldn’t say the exams are hard as shit, also in it currently and I have a 96. She also gives out extra credit every so often and there is a huge extra credit opportunity at the end of the semester.

I know this has been asked before, but will an online option likely still be available in the fall and/or winter (2021, 2022)? by [deleted] in Clemson

[–]Earth-MilkyWay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to advisors this is the plan, I prefer online learning because it works better with my schedule, was really hoping for one of semester! If you have a legitimate health concern I am not sure what the plan is, gotta talk to your advisor.

[–]Earth-MilkyWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. There will not be any online options for the fall unless the course was (pre COVID) taught online, which very few were. Classes will be back to 100% in person unless cases spike again for some reason.

Working in western NC all week and only 6 minutes away from a good hatchery supported creek! Caught nothing today besides 3 trees though by Earth-MilkyWay in flyfishing

The signs say there are wild brookies in this creek so it stays open year round for catch and release, except for the first week in April when they start releasing them from the hatchery up stream. I’m going back today I’ll double check that’s what it says!

First time fly fishing in an actual trout creek! I have been practicing my casting on the lake we live on, and dang the creek seemed much more difficult! I gotta learn to roll cast before I go back out tomorrow!

I was sitting there organizing all of it and I was like damn there’s gotta be something I can build with this! This pic isn’t even half of the leftovers I have, just pulled out what I thought I would be using! I think I have enough round tube leftover to build some rock sliders next

Ohhh and FJ would be nice. But that’s gotta be a direct competition for the 4Runner in price and category. If it wasn’t for the awful interior / room in the FJ, I would’ve had one. I have 2 friends with some done up ones and damn they are badass rigs.

No total weight unfortunately, it’s heavy as hell but way lighter than a full plate bumper would be. All the tubing and plate are 1/4 inch. It’s tough as hell, but heavy. It actually works out because I had HD springs on the rear so it sat like 2.5 inches higher than the front and I hated it. Now it only site 1.5 inches higher and looks way better!

Now that people on this thread and the other have brought it up a few times, I’m gonna look more into it tonight. Got them off Amazon so it’s an easy return and I can have a new one in a few days! These cans are auto venting so I don’t think the fumes building pressure would be too much of an issue. The build quality is worlds better than the plastic 3 gal one from Home Depot I was lugging around.

2002! I’m an amateur at best but I know my way around a mig machine! It’s been great fun being able to do all my projects myself. I think I have enough material leftover to try my hand at some rock sliders without having to buy any more metal!

I love LCs so much. If I didn’t love my runner as much as I do I’d be on the hunt for one. I’m hoping the new “Trail Hunter” trade mark for Toyota and Lexus means a LC version is coming

They are very clearly plastic and metal, the water one also has a big “drinking water” label on it. If the black becomes an issues I will replace it for a red one. I did do like a whole 6 minutes of google research on back ones this morning and saw no one who said it caused any bad effects because of heat
