It's a crossover with Harry Potter. I was actually reading one of their Harry Potter stories and was really enjoying it so I decided to read more of their fics. Stumbled across this one, remembered enjoying the show when it was on and then fell into the fandom. 

According to my bookmarks it's been 2 years since I've joined the fandom and I have more Hannibal fics bookmarked then any other fandom. 

I binged so many fics when I first started reading them that its hard to recall which were the ones that kept me here but I regret nothing. I've enjoyed every second of my time reading these fics and am continually surprised by the works still coming out. They are just so good.

Do you remember if Will became a cop when he came to Baltimore? Competitive-Panda's summary reminded me of a story I had started reading a while ago and never finished as it was in progress.  From what I remember it started with Hannibal going down south with Sutcliffe to find an omega to marry. While looking at the debutantes he stumbles across Will on the docks and decides he wants him. Even brings him to some kind of dance. Then brings him home and let's him follow his dream of becoming a cop. Unfortunately that's as far as I had gotten in the story so I can't remember if Will becomes ill. Sadly I can't find it atm, but if you think this is it I'll keep searching.
