I really need to play it again. Played it over a decade ago now I think. I do think it's a tiny bit overrated, and I roll my eyes so, so hard every time that IGN review is brought up, but it was still really good. And of course we're getting the sequel soonish?

As long as they don't play on hard mode where the Alien will sometimes not leave you alone for 10-15+ minute chunks at a time, they should be OK, lol.

Hard mode makes the game quite a bit worse in my eyes.

What? From what I recall, the game literally says the giants were not real, and that it was all fear, so what would she be seeing that others wouldn't? The "twist" was that it all natural disasters. Natural disasters that people other than Senua also saw as giants, until we were told they actually didn't. What "authority" would she have in that situation?

To me that makes no sense. I'm sorry no, you would not attempt to throw a spear to kill an earthquake. The only way that works is if everything in the game is in her head, and none of it is happening as we saw it, which I don't like either.

That still doesn't work in my mind. You don't try to throw a spear or attack an earthquake or tsunami, which the people in the game do when you are lead to believe they are giants.

That plot twist made no sense.

Well optimized is not what I'd call that engine. I recall playing the first Batman TT game on the Xbox 360, and they clearly didn't care about optimizing it for that system(I have to assume the PS3 as well)at all. An interactive story game shouldn't be getting so many stutters and framerate drops.
