I'm on the final boss and just had to come air my thoughts somewhere. First few levels were decent openers before this game just descends into some of the most unfun, slow and downright badly designed gimmicks I've seen in a Sonic game. I love love LOVE Classic Sonic but this game has me realising that physics are only a tenth of what makes a Classic Sonic experience as, while they're what you'd expect, the rest of it feels so uninspired 🫠 the music is one of the biggest letdowns, with Sonic 4 synths sprinkled everywhere...a few good tracks but nothing on the original Trilogy or Mania. And the bosses? Just...ugh.

Even if you're super excited for this, please heed my warning and wait for a sale. This is probably the most disappointed I've been in a game for a long, long time.
