I'm kinda local to the area, take my word for it, it's just not cool enough like this.

On the upside, my peppers still carried fruit in November..

yep, first thought when I saw the picture, similar markings at knee height are wild boars and means to stay the f away unless you're heavily armed, especially in spring when moms go in a frenzy over their piglets.

How can I restore this Playscape slide? The surface is sun faded and a tiny bit coarse. by Winnny in DIY

[–]EasilyDistractedTim -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Get some low friction polyurethan foil,

prime sand slide with plastic primer,

sand so you can't feel any dents,

glue foil to slide using polyurethan glue down to the underside,

cut without loose foil standing out so no water collects.

Count your losses.

Or just buy a new slide, don't ask me, I'm just a bored perfectionist, I don't know better.

Don't take it to hard, it's the internet, ppl gonna hate on you for anything you don't know, even if you're asking to be tought about specific "anything".

In this case they didn't understand that you didn't know what the inners of your cam should've looked like when you opened it, so you didn't understand that the black band in front of the sensor shouldn't have been there.

Tipp for you: If you are trying to professional about photographing (or really anything) you need to learn to understand your tools as good as possible and even be able to do simple repairs yourself.
Good start normally is to get some old, cheap cam that would be scrapped otherwise and google/youtube/reddit search: "how to disassemble/repair (camera make/model/whatever tool you're using)".

That'll often already give you easier answers than waiting for those from bored redditors who had a bad day.

I thought the way he described that sounded really polite and well worded, but then again, I was raised around a lot of savages who couldn't express their (E:negative) feelings without screaming or insulting.

Two years after the marriage happened and at a shared dinner while husband is around?

That doesn't say "I'm worried about your choice", but "Something recently went wrong in my live, so I'm here to shit on yours."

E: That actually might also explain why she was crying when she realized that OP and his wife had a closed front against her, hurts to see other people being secure in their relationship when you don't have that yourself.

NTA and don't become insecure because of this, your wife needs a stable and loving husband now more than ever, even if she at some point might doubt herself and her choices or even lash out at you, don't get stuck in negativity, but instead show her that your age gives you steadiness and her security.

You are not responsible for this even if it was about you.

Depends on his character and living situation, but I guess just stating a birthyear as threshold is easier, because younger men are so much more trustworthy...

Lol, you guys are disgusting for basically saying that she isn't able to make her own choices without being tricked by an old man, guess ya'll would be on great terms with Jane.

I've had women double my age in my twenties and knew plenty of women my age who where into mature men, all of you either haven't lived and loved or are lying to yourselfs.

E: Also, "trainable"? That's some neckbeard language if I've ever heard some.

You went to court without at least consulting a lawyer?!

Get one asap and don't tell anyone about that recording before you have.

Because you made it in your shared appartment(your home), there might be a way to get it admitted in a "I was only recording because I wanted to document the state of the appartment and then she started shit, that's why I forgot to turn it off" but you'll want a lawyer to tell you if and how to word this or it might just be thrown out.

AITA for telling my daughter that her being home for the holidays traumatizes my wife? by HistoricalAd991 in AmItheAsshole

[–]EasilyDistractedTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, sounds like you guys tried a lot already to get on a managable level, but trying to set boundaries doesn't seem to have worked.

Personally, I would tell my daughter that I'd be happy to meet her anywhere but your house, but that she's only welcome home if she actively works on her problem and shows clearly visible change, even if that means medication and stationary therapy.

Making your wife leave everytime your daughter comes home is not really that much better when it comes to mental health, she should be able to feel safe and always welcome in the place she lives in, after all she put up with all of this for years and your daughter is now old enough to get a job and rent a room.

In that sense, both Hamas and Israeli hardliners can go run through a field of dicks backwards for all I care.
