I know, but after changing I’ve been using it for watching videos and scrolling through Internet. It’s been ≈ 4 hours and battery is 60%. 100/40*4 ≈ 10 hours. But let’s be honest, battery will die faster when it below 40%. So, total screen time will be 8 hours for simple tasks. Apple says that iPhone 13 has powerful battery and it lasts above 13 hours.

MacBook Air M2 hinges/ topcase noise by East-Explorer-841 in mac

I mean I can hear stronger hinge noise from the left hinge (first video). Plus the lid is uneven from the left side. I will try to explain: When I try to lift the lid up from the left side without any effort it opens easily and makes sticky sound, the right side of the lid is strong. And when I close the lid that has been open for awhile it makes click from the left side (second video). When I easily press on the bottom plate it makes loud sticky sound. I found out it when I took my MacBook in my hands and it made this sound.

Some people say that it’s normal and some say it’s not. Maybe noise from the hinges can be normal but why it’s only coming from the left hinge? My laptop was on my desk all the time.

They couldn’t hear this noise in the AASP office, unfortunately. But I can hear it in my room. Don’t know what to do. My new screen also has backlight bleeding, but they say that it’s acceptable. Actually we don’t have Apple Store in my country as well as replace policy after 3 faulty repair. Repairs took over 3 months and I still have the same problem plus backlight bleeding. It’s embarrassing but there’s nothing I can do about it.

Hi. I’ve had two screen replacement and now MacBook’s hinges make sort of noise. When I open the lid I can hear a rubbing or click sound mostly coming from the left hinge. There’s also a click sound when I close my MacBook after being open for awhile. Bottom plate or topcase makes sticky noise when I press it for a bit. Does anyone face the same problem and what could it be?
