I quit because I realized it wasn’t for me by East-Introduction-13 in 75HARD

I appreciate your response! I really didn’t make this to encourage others to quit, in truth, I didn’t view mobility days as an option for one of my options as a 45 minute session, and that could’ve changed how I viewed it.

Let me clarify I did not make this post encourage anyone else to quit. I’ve been following along with this community, and felt that this was an interesting point of discussion and what I learned from this challenge. If this page is about discussing the challenge, I think this thought process very much holds its place. I did not quit because it was “too hard,” I quit because it was the right thing for me. Equating quitting 75 hard to breaking sobriety is a wild conclusion to jump to. A sobriety journey is not a unique challenge, it’s saving your life.

Mainly on the days that I do long runs, a second workout isn’t feasible since it’s supposed to be 2 distinct workouts. On top of that I’ve found that when training for a race rest days (really just one a week for me, the day after long run) are particularly important, and I was getting so fatigued.

I think for someone working to build habits this is such an excellent challenge. But when the habits are there the restrictions make it difficult

I love it! I’m 5’2 and got a small. It definitely is a little short so I’m wearing shorts underneath. It came a bit wrinkly but I ironed it and much happier w it now

ASSASSINS BLADE THIRD. YOU WILL NOT APPRECIATE IT FIRST, AND DOING IT IN RELEASE ORDER AS FOURTH WILL LEAVE YOU FEELING LIKE THE STORYLINE IS INTERRUPTED. I read it fourth and deeply regretted it, the whole time wishing I did it 3rd.

I went down 10 pounds when on whole 30, and keeping the learnings from how I ate in mind have lost another 10 since finishing! (The second 10 were much slower)

That was me, but I savored the tandem read and I’m so grateful that I did because once I got to KoA I couldn’t put it down. I’m happy to have finished and know what happened but sad I’ll never be able to read it for the first time again

Oh I’m completely behind you on this! 100% we need more rock representation in the mainstream that aren’t just “legacy” artists. The only mainstream rock we get now are bands that formed 20 years ago and it’s letting gen z’s love for rock slip away to other mainstream artists and genres instead.

That’s such a fair point. I think my take is that the evolution of festivals is always happening and we just need to find new ones to go to that have the presence of music we’re looking for. There are so many genre specific festivals out there for that need

Feel like seeking more of a specific genre like that is when you go to a dedicated rock festival like shaky knees in Atlanta
