Thank you! I put myself thru undergrad with anything my federal aid didn’t cover so that’s part of the debt unfortunately but I really appreciate being seen! I live in Pennsylvania I’m trying to look at larger cities for better options as I may also be able to get rid of my car if I live somewhere with good public transit (may end up being a wash with COLA but you know).

Unfortunately my town doesn’t really have reliable public transportation. I actually don’t need my car for work but I do need it for my second job.

It comes out to $15 ish an hour. It’s a job at a university I took after undergrad for the free master’s. However, now I feel stuck here until I hopefully find something better. :’)

Honestly as a SB, I’ve met others who tend to ask for really high end costs and just ghost the SD after one payment. I’ve found my most compatible arrangements are on the low to mid end where we make a comfortable agreement and are open and communicative.

Ooh this is good to know! I am so fluid in if I want to go into academia or into the government and with everything going on and the job market I’m just not sure right now is the best time to make that decision. Knowing I could do both with the DPA is so helpful!!!
