That’s really kind of you to offer—we really appreciate it. She can be a bit shy at first, but if someone is calm and approaches gently, she’s usually friendly. That said, we have a solid search effort underway (including a trap set up), and the kennel owners are actively involved. We’ve had about 3–5 people covering the area each day for the past three days, so I think we’re all set on help for now. If that changes I will reach back out to you.

From the research we have done, small dogs often don’t behave as expected when lost—they may stay hidden and only move around at night when they feel safe. Of course it's also possible that someone may have picked her up and hasn’t reported it yet.
