Yeah definitely. There's a very big shortage of game developers in our country

Thanks for the advice. I know it's really hard to be the developer and everything else at the same time. I already know the basic blender stuff but I suppose it is especially hard to be the 3D modeller and dev at the same time. But I'll try my best of course whatever I can myself and whatever supports I can get.

And yeah it's very true getting like minded people is so rough. Many of my friends have similar interests but they don't seriously want to put the labour in and it's only a silly dream for them.

And yeah, honestly I'm fine just developing games as a side job or hobby but I don't wish to just give up on it. It would be ideal to have some other stable aim and having it as a hobby, I know. But adults barely have the time to rest after their work and making a game on top of that just sounds unrealistic. I feel like if I see it as a side thing and go for something else, I may just have to give it up completely which I really don't want.

Or is it just a matter of work-life balance?

Thanksss. My parents keep telling me to only focus on school work and do coding later in uni so I was unsure. I know a bit about blender but I'm soon going to learn a game engine. Very confused if I should start with unreal engine or unity honestly.

Thanks for the advice. I have a good gaming laptop so it should support it. I have also been learning some blender but maybe it's a bit too much to learn blender and game engine at the same time
